Ramya is an Architect based in Bangalore having completed her bachelors in Architecture from University Visvesvariah College of Engineering.
Her inspiration towards sustainable architecture germinated during her internship at Auroville, Tamilnadu. This inspiration further widened and developed during her tenure of 6 years as an Architect with Biome Environmental Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
She specializes in sustainable and environmentally friendly design solutions which incorporates natural light and ventilation, rainwater harvesting, grey water recycling, sustainable walls like SMB/ CSEB, rammed earth, cob walls and roofing techniques like vaults, arch panels and filler slabs with an idea of having to reduce the dependency on factory-made products to the extent possible and reduce the usage of virgin materials.
Her experience in the field aspires to connect with the clients to get their desired outcome while sustainability and water management is imbibed in the design execution.
